This poured a medium orange color with a beige head. Aroma was citrusy and piney hops with some cracker and plae malt in the backround. Taste was nice tropical fruits, a bit subdued, not very bitter, some maltyness and biscuts there too. Decent.

Pizza Port Carlsbad Edition. On tap at The Brickskeller during its "Whet" Hop Ales event with Tomme Arthur. Pours a light orange color with some copper hues. Big white head and crazy amounts of lacing. Nose brings some light fresh, green hops. No particular varietal really stands out as to pine or citrus, it’s more of the "green" fresh hop flavor. The same is said of the taste, where there’s a nice green, wet bitterness with a light body and somewhat low carbonation. Moderately dry finish. Quite good. RBESG 2010, draught at Brasserie 4:20
Red-amber color; creamy head. Nice perfumy aroma, fruity hops, mango, light phenols, wax...
Quite strong body, caramel flavor, strong bitterness, some hop oils and resins, but not fresh as it should be (it’s already 6+ months old).

On tap at Toronado, San Diego. Aroma: Slightly bready, caramel malt, piney hops. Appearance: Slightly cloudy coppery pour, excellent, light white head with great lacing. Taste: Caramel malt backbone balanced against a delicately hoppy finish. Piney without being resiny, hints of grapefruit. Well balanced. Palate: Nicely carbonated, medium nouthfeel. Overall: Very drinkable. Great fresh hop flavor without being monstrously bitter. Excellent.

Draft. Poured at Toronado San Diego into a pint glass a orange ambe color with a fluffy white head. Nice lace. Danky, piney aroma of hops in the nose. Sweet start gives way to building hoppy bitterness. Nice medium mouthfeel. Decenlty solid wet hop.

A: The pour is a clear, golden orange color with a dense white head and some sticky lacing. S: Wow, lots of citrus aromas to this one. Tons of grapefruit along with pineapple and bitter pine hops. Really no malt whatsoever. T: A nice bitter bite of pine and grapefruit peel. Great grapefruit and pineapple flavors are present as well and provide a well rounded and dominating hoppiness. M: The body is medium with a fairly high level of carbonation and a nice crisp finish. D: This beer was just fantastic. So easy to drink and wonderfully done hopping. I had no problem drinking my glass of this.

On tap Brickskeller DC. Pours a clear, lightly burnt orange with a thin white head. Nose of citra hops, zingy, pine, candy, zesty, light soap. Flavor is very zesty, zingy, grapefruit finish, sweet but only enough to balance. Lightly bitter, dry finish. 100% fresh hop beer. Typical American IPA.

On tap at Pizza Port San Clemente’s Hoptoberfest. Pours with a huge white head and a deep golden body. Great lace. Aroma of tropical fruits, herbal, dank, spicy, grassy hops. Flavor is grainy, spicy, fruity. Very interesting and well crafted. Light caramel and a delicate malt body. Really well balanced. Fruity, dry and good. A perfect session IPA super fresh hops.
