Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA May 24, 2008 Golden and sparkly with a thin head. A little bit grainy, with a hint of yoghurty acidity on the nose. LIght body, fairly spritzy. Interesting tartness in the finish. Clean pale malt, a hint of hop bitterness. Balanced, has potential. Beershine (1214), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Apr 28, 2008 Draught at PP carlsbad. Clear, blonde, lots of little bubblies rising eager to escape their torment. Scattered lacing. Cereal, lemon. Slight fizz. Light spritzy body. Quaffability. Cool, refreshing, slight tartness. Similar qualities to a lager but more tart and less grain. Biscuity. Citrusy. Dry and a little watery finish. Okay--only 3.9% as per the menu! doubleo (749), San Diego, California, USA Apr 16, 2008 On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours a clearish pale yellow color with a crisp white head. Bits of lace, decent retention. Smells of light, crisp malts and bready yeasty. Taste is light and bready, belgiany, yeasty with a solid crisp malt background. Thin, light body, very crisp carbonation. Tasty but not overly tasty, very drinkable. goldtwins (3731), Nesconset, New York, USA Feb 18, 2008 Tap @ PP Carlsbad. Poured a clear gold color with a thin off-white head.
