From a growler courtesy of my neighbor from the source. It poured a dark brown color with a small head. The aroma is sweet with roasted malts and some vanilla. Taste has chocolate and caramel. Apparently there is lactose in it but I’m not sure I could identify that ingredient. Creamy texture with long silky finish.

On tap at Pizza Port (Carlsbad) with Andy, James and Dallas for Dallas’ bachelor weekend. Dark pour. I have no notes on the aroma, but the palate is caramel and chocolate. There is an awesome, chewy, swishy mouthfeel that makes this taste like one of those caramel-filled chocolate Easter eggs from Cadbury. Absolutely delicious.
