Pizza Port Cowabunga Cream Stout

Red-black body topped by creamy tan head. Aroma is moderately sweet, roasty, chococoffee. Taste is moderately sweet, roasty, cream, chocolate, light anise, light alcohol warming in finish. Creamy medium body.

On tap at Solana Beach: Unbelievably rich, sweet, creamy and smooth. Dark brown body with a thick viscous tan head. Body is full of malty lactic sugar and has a wonderfully thick, creamy palate. Some roasted chocolatey notes are also present. The best sweet stout I have had in a long time.

Draft at Pizza Port Solana Beach: Dark black, nose of oats and creamy milk chocolate, roast and licorice. The flavor has a nice chewy, earthy quality with some pineapple. Finishes chewy, nice but dry.

On tap at Pizza Port in Solana Beach... Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, well-tanned head. Milk chocolate, vanilla and cashews in the aroma and flavor. Light-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. Lengthy, burnt finish. Damn nice!

Poured a dark brown color with a medium sized, light tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, nuts, smoke, light vanilla bean, and lactose. Taste of much of the same, with some light chocolate as well.
