Commercial Description:
This bold Belgian Style Ale is a blend of 4 sources of fermentable sugars. American Oak, sour cherries, and three seperate strains of brettanomyces. It takes over a year to make each batch because a beer like this requires patience, creativity, and most importantly, equal parts luck and skill. We know of no other beverage in the world that tastes like this.

Dark brown with just a few bubbles floating on top. Aroma is musty bourbon. Flavor was bourbon, musty funk, some wood, cherry. Finishes slightly acidic, clean. Wish this had a bit more of everything.

OK...04 tomme was a completely different story. More everything, perfect acidity. Lots of cantaloupe, cherry, candy, white grapes. Holy hell this is great. 08’ gets a 3.5, 04 got a 4.2. Wow.

2008 bottle thanks to zathrus13, shared with m4rest88. Pours with a small, light brown, foamy head, with a hazy deep brown body with reddish highlights. Aroma of burboun, vanilla, cherries, chocolate, raisins, slight sour tannins, very complex. Taste is sour, but finishes with brown sugar, molasses, raisins, and bourbon/vanilla. Tart cherries make an appearance upfront. Light, playfull carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Mr. Tomme Aurthur does it again!

Aroma is of dark fruits, cherries, grapes, yeast, bourbon, vanilla, caramel. Tastes just the same as the aroma. - cherries, citrus, bourbon. Beer tastes sour throughout with a yeasty ending. Pours a dark brown, with redish highlites - there is almost no head on this beer. Body is medium with light carbonation. A great beer! Special thanks to bman1113vr!

HUGE thanks to Mitch (beerguy101) for this. Poured a dark mahogany/ cherry with no head. The aroma was cherry and vinegar. Flavors are cherry, raisins, and oak. Sour and very smooth. Goes down easy. Great beer!

Bottle from 2008: Sour aroma. Smells of tart cherries, oak, and Brett. Poured brown/raspberry in color with a tiny off-white head. Hazy. Flavor is highly sour. Tastes of sour mix, tart fruits, oak, cherries, and alcohol. Light to medium body. Soft texture. Soft to average carbonation. Tart fruit finish.
