Flavour is hardroasted malt which gives a slight watery finish at first but as the flavours build up the roasted malt gives a steady nice acidic roasted bitterness. Undertones of caramel and a slight hint of chocolate mixed with great roast malt flavor. Not much bitter but pleasant. A good roasted malt flavor. Solid palate just a tad thin but not bad. Carbonation is good as well. I like that as you roll your tongue around in your mouth it wakes up some bitter. A very good brown ale for me.
