Tap at the Brewpub in San Clemente. Yeasty, dirty nose. Sweet malt flavor, very yeasty, lemon. The yeast is not really working for me.

Tap at PPC. Clear straw with small white foam. Good retention. Nose is big yellow apple. Small vanilla. Taste is sweet, sharp, stinging. Boozy. Palate is powerful, estery, sugary, boozy. On style I'd say. Yellow apple heavy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

brokensail (10789) - Orange County, California, USA - JUN 12, 2012
Pours a golden color with a big white head. Sweet malt and sugar on the nose with tons of banana, bubblegum, and clove notes. A touch of yeast, light floral notes, and a hint of alcohol. The flavor offers the same sugar and bread qualities as well as some light fruit (apples?), banana, and clove spiciness. Not quite so much bubblegum on the palate. A bit of alcohol warmth on the back end.

Clear golden pour, small white head. Sweet, sugary, fruit, a bit bready, and boozy alcohol. Decent, just not a style I like.
