Lost this rating from last year. Tap @ Solana. Pours clear gold with a short white head. Fresh aroma of pine, grass, and rye. Sharper tasitng than the aroma let on. Good amount of resiny and peppery hops and the dryness of rye. There was some sort of strawberry-like tartness that came through with the malt. Light feel with a lot of taste.

<b>On tap &#64; Pizza Port &#40;Solana Beach&#41;</b> - Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, and floral hops. Flavor is nicely balanced between the hops and toasted malt sweetness. Medium body. A nice beer.

<b>GABF 2006:</b> Hazy light golden colo with a mostly white headr. Malty aroma with light citrusy notes blending in. The flavor had some citrus to start but then moslty sweet caramel malt. Had nice taste.

straw color dense white head w/ nice lacing. Full english style aroma some odd hop aromas some citrus notes a decent amount of toffeed malt. Avg palate. flavor has strawberry hints some floral and citrus notes w/ a piney finish and a good blend of hop. A very well done all be it slightly different APA.

<i>From cask in Solana Beach.</i> Ultra creamy, fizzy pour of transparent summer corn that settles down with a medium layer of soapy white head. Aroma of watermelon bubblegum, fruit cocktail, and white grape juice. Fruity, hoppy whiff of spruce sap garnished with a marachino cherry. Soft velvety mouthfeel with a creamy wheatgrass initial sensation. The final smack brings out some rye flavors on the palate. The white rye bread flavors leave my mouth watering for some corn beef and sauerkraut. Final smack of cornbread dough and white pine bark.
