Had on draft at the brewery. Spicy coffee, sweet chocolate,nutty, creamy, great complexity and balance. Took a growler home with me to Utah.

Growler fill from Pizza Port San Clemente: Appeared a dark leather brown accompanied with a thin layer of creamy foam head. Aroma is bold with scents of rich roast ground coffee bean and deep whiffs of hazelnut extract. The flavor starts out semi-sweet but then finishes bitter similar to how a strong black coffee would drink. Overall though, the flavors are subtle compared to the nose except that there is a deep profile of strong roast black coffee whereas the hazelnut only lurks in the distant background. I am unable to taste the white chocolate but there is a slight sweetness to this beer that could possibly be due to that extra ingredient. Actually, this is the first time I have come across a beer that used white chocolate as an ingredient. This is a really tasty and heavy on the flavor sweet stout. Kudos.

Pours black with a good sized tan head. The nose is sweet milk chocolate, balanced with coffee and some nutty aromas mixed in. The flavor is medium high sweet and low bitter as it should be. The texture is soft and creamy, the body is low heavy and the finish is long.

Dark brown, almost black, pour with a khaki head. Rich coffee and chocolate aromas. Nice roasted malt, some earth, a nice vanilla note, a hint of spice, and maybe some cream. The flavor is well balanced between the roast/coffee and sweetness. Good chocolate and hazelnut notes. Nice vanilla and creaminess. Tons of coffee, roasted malt, and hints of earth and spice.
