On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach. Black in color with a thin tan head. Aroma is of molasses, chocolate, light coffee, roasted malts and brown sugar. Taste is tons of molasses, chocolate, brown sugar, and booze.

On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of medium roasted malt, some chocolate and medium sweetness. Flavour brings out loads of sweet roasted malt, light coffee notes, and a touch of cocoa. Very well-balanced without any harshness or cloying sweetness.

On tap @ Pizza Port Ocean Beach. Black in color with a tan head. Big coffee, roast, and earthy hop notes. Licorice, ash, dark chocolate, and some soy sauce. Kind of bitter and acidic on the tongue. Coffee, ash, roast, and dark chocolate. Licorice, soy sauce, and earthy hop bitterness.

Tap at Ocean Beach. Pours opaque ink, low carbonation with spotty lacing. Nose is soy, cookie, dark chocolate, sweet cocoa. Taste is richer coffee, mild alcohol. Thicker/dense body.

On tap @ Pizza Port Bressi Ranch. Pours deep inky black with minimal head. Aroma is deeply roasted malt, espresso, soy sauce, and dark chocolate. Taste is similar - super roasty malt with big soy and espresso notes, a bit of chocolate in the finish. Very thick mouthfeel. I donít know this band but a google search suggests this is a fitting beer for them. Nice RIS.
