a little more fruit forward than traditional perhaps, but quite tasty. warming without any booziness. liked the citrus aspect.

Pours golden, nice white foam. Aroma of Belgian yeast, candy. Taste feels really Belgian as well, feeling as if in Brussels. Sweet, with subdued bitterness and much more powerful than your usual Belgian ale. Some sour notes in the aftertaste.

Clear deep golden color. Frothy white head. Malty bready nose with coriander and orange peel. Big malty mouth, very full bodied but alcohol well hidden and fairly easy to drink. Definetely a Duvel wannabe.

On my first flight of beers while in Pizza Port San Clemente on 17th July 2014. Golden with a thin white covering. The aroma was semi-sweet and fruity with a mini yeast hint, the taste followed on the same. A pleasant enough Tripel with an alcohol content that is hidden well by the flavours.

Shared competition bomber that was brought out of the cellar, and poured to snifters, showing a cloudy, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of white head foam, and light waves & spots of lacing. The nose was subtle tartness, light spice, citrus, & stone fruit. The taste was similar, with a more evident, candy sweetness, rather hidden alcohol, and good carbonation, all in a medium body. Rather tasty, and cellared quite well considering a 4 year nap.

On tap. Can smell and taste the corriander, with some citrus notes. Somewhat peppery, and other spices, on the palate. Sweet. Not one of my favorites.

A hazy golden pour with a tall white head. Very strong coriander scent to this beer. Tons of banana, citrus peel, and sweet malt. A light herbal quality, some sugar, and yeast. Tastes of coriander, banana, orange, and sugar for the most part. A nice yeast character, plenty of pear and apple esters, and a slight pepper note.

On tap at Mikkeller Bar. An almost clear one, golden in color and topped by a finger-thick, white head. The aroma is fruity with a faint sourish touch, still it feels quite sugary. There’s some alcohol warmth in the mouth, it’s full-bodied, soft and smooth, with flavors of fruitiness, some white sugar and a sourish hint. A pleasant bitterness too. Dry, fruity finish with a touch of something peppery, and with hoppy bitterness. A tasteful beer, but a bit too sugary and warm, but it drinks deceivingly easily. 120510

Draught at Mikkeller bar, Copenhagen. Slightly hazy golden color. Aromas of clove and tart berrries. Sweet flavor with grapefruit, gooseberry, toffee, soft warming alcohol and some tart vinous notes. Some phenols in finish. Full bodied. Nice vinous and fruity character, a bit heavy on a palate.
