Super citruscy ipa from port brewing. Very hoppy and bitter to the taste. Pours a cloudy yellow in color with a nice head. Had at dark lord days. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Light body. Citrus and, no surprise, grapefruit essence. Spruce. Not that bitter, very easy to drink. I love this emerging grapefruit IPA trend from the San Diego area breweries.

8 Mar 2014, tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. Light yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is all grapefruit juice. Thin body and fizzy. Grapefruit pulp. Not terribly bitter. Enough sweet malt to balance it. Still, the name promised more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: FEB 3, 2014 Draft toronado. Minimal head, crystal clear light gold. Palate is very light, refreshing, and juicy. High carbonation and very fizzy. Hoppy but not bitter. This is a beer I can drink all day on a hot day. Main taste is citrus and slight biscuit, but no malt.

06/01/2014 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Pizza Port Tap Takeover 2nd edition. Dorata, limpida, schiuma abbondante, non molto persistente. Naso esplosivo, agrumi, resina, freschissima, davvero impressionante.

@Carlsbad. Clear golden color with white head. Big citrusy grapefruit, pale malt aromas. Average mouthfeel. Bitter grapefruit rind, dusty pale malt flavors with mild floral hoppage___weak

Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours clear, yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a white cream top. The aroma holds pithy citrus, pine needles, suggestions of grapefruit. The grapefruit character really comes through in the flavor. It’s not too bitter. Lots of spruce notes, some grapefruit flesh and rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mildly resinous on the finish with more juicy grapefruit, spruce, modest pale malt sweetness, hints of alcohol warmth. Novel .
