On tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours a lightly hazed pale golden color with a white head. Big time grapefruit zest and juice on the nose. Orange, pine, and some light tropical notes. Very zesty flavor. Tons of grapefruit juice, too. Orange, pine, light bitterness, and some pale malt.

Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours clear, yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a white cream top. The aroma holds pithy citrus, pine needles, suggestions of grapefruit. The grapefruit character really comes through in the flavor. It’s not too bitter. Lots of spruce notes, some grapefruit flesh and rind. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Mildly resinous on the finish with more juicy grapefruit, spruce, modest pale malt sweetness, hints of alcohol warmth. Novel .

Draught at Pizza Port, Carlsbad. Hazy pale golden beer with a nice lasting white head. Hoppy grapefruit aroma, citrus, grassy, floral, mango, pine apples, oranges, some hay. Hoppy grapefruit flavor, grassy, citrus, pine apples, floral, mango, pine apples, quite bitter. Long bitter finish with citrus, pine apples, grass and some mango. Really nice.

Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Full haze straw pour. Great lacing. Aww man beautiful fresh juicy red grapefruit. So delicious. Powerful hop content and juicy, fresh balance. Nose is super bright, fresh garden, fresh grapefruit. Palate is juicy, balanced, mega hop ’power’ without being soapy, astringent, nutty, or abrasive. Really good. Could drink this all day.

@Carlsbad. Clear golden color with white head. Big citrusy grapefruit, pale malt aromas. Average mouthfeel. Bitter grapefruit rind, dusty pale malt flavors with mild floral hoppage___weak

On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach, pours a hazy / clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma of citrus zest, crackery malt and pine. Flavour brings out loads of pepper, more so than the grapefruit / citrus notes. This is a peppery hop bomb, with awesome drinkability. Excellent.

Draft at PP Carlsbad. Golden pour with a fluffy white head. Lots of grapefruit, sweet fruitiness, grapefruit juice, caramel malt, and some bitterness. Ok, probably wouldn’t drink this again.

Growler shared by Ed5388 during the IPA tasting, I think he wanted to get me drunk to take advantage of me. Poured a hazed orange body with a smaller foamy off white head. Aroma is dank, bad citrus fruits, wet bread and old orange slices. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a long lingering flavor from the bitter finish. Flavor of dry citrus rinds, dankenss, dry grassy hops, earthiness. Solid stuff here.

8 Mar 2014, tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. Light yellow, clear, no bubbles. Nose is all grapefruit juice. Thin body and fizzy. Grapefruit pulp. Not terribly bitter. Enough sweet malt to balance it. Still, the name promised more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
