On tap at PP Carlsbad. Brown fluffy microbubble tap head. Yeasty aroma. Small amount of chocolatey roasty flavor. Easy to drink. Good w/pizza. Small hint of sour-buttery-dishrag, but at a very low level. Medium body. Medium bitterness.

Aug 31, 2008 Draft. Pours a dark brown with a light white head. Light fruity and nutty aroma. Overall a little subtle but pretty nice. The flavor is a little woodsy up front, but turns fruitier in the finish. I actually liked the mix on this one. Pretty good balance into it, with a sweet finish. very drinkable brown, I could session this one for a while. Liked it.

Aug 28, 2008 Draft... <b>RBSG ‘08</b>... Lightly hazy mahogany ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. Nutty, lightly chocolaty aroma. Light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Nicely balanced... tips just a touch toward the bitter side. Lengthy, crisp, mildly bitter finish.

Aug 16, 2008 Draft @ Hamilton’s Tavern. Pours dark brown with a minimal off white head. Some toasted malt and light hops on the nose. Finish had good balance and was slightly bitter.
DA (2586), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA
Aug 16, 2008 RBSG 2008. Pours darker mahogany with a thin white head. Toasty nutty malt base with a light spicy citrus hop finish. This beer got a bit earthy up front, but felt bland towards the finsh.
