Growler; thanks to riversideak for sharing; pours dense, dark brown with thin white head; bananas, sweet cloves, chocolate and dark fruit; quite sweet, yeasty with rich wheat profile; minor chaulk on finish; yummy wheat, cloves and fruity spices; almost chewy texture is quite rich and smooth; lots of wheat here with plenty of sugars mixed in; good stuff; thanks Alex!!

On tap at Pizza Port Solana Beach. Served up in a tulip glass. Frothy brown color with a medium-sized toasted head. Really sweet aroma, very dubbel-esque. Notes of caramel, bubblegum and candy sugar. Lots of toffee and spice in the flavor, with dark malt and toasted biscuit. Finishes sweet with tingly carbonation. Good stuff.

Growler from riversideak. Pours a thick cola brown with a little bit of a beige head. Nose is big on the Belgian esters, some roasty cocoa, clove, grape jelly and banana. Good body feel that has prickly carbonation on the back end. Some cola sweetness up front with a bunch of banana and spicy clove with the wheat present but light. Not a style I usually go after, but this is a decent American effort.

Draft at sb locale. A nice break from all the hops. Like a Belgian dubbel. Smooth and creamy with a dry finish. Good.

On tap at the Solana Beach location. Pours a deep cola brown, fairly viscous with a frothy beige head. Big nose of bananas, clove spice and roasted malts. Very creamy on the palate with a faint hint of booze, very tasty.
