Tap at PPC. Sparkling light amber pour. Persistent head. White grape juice nose. Taste is a bit boozy, spicy, similar white grape juice, bitter orange juice. Long, citrus hop finish. More traditional IPA.

On tap at PP Carlsbad. Pours with a crystal clear yellow hued body with a foamy white head that lasts. Aromas are of pineapple, spicy, resiny, pungent, grapefruit pith, mild malt. Flavors are fruity with a strongly pungent hop character, spicy, grapefruit, cohumulone bite, grassy. Bitter, lively carbonation and dry. Pretty solid.

Draft at c’bad pizza port. Bright clear amber, with white head and nice lacing. Super bitter and hoppy, almost biting bitterness, grapefruit, light fruit sweetness, and grain. Very flavorful for only 5.3%. A good one for the hop heads.

On tap at pp Carlsbad. Subpar draft list to be honest... Pours a golden mostly transparent creamy white head... Citrusy hop profile, somewhat average and not too unique. Pretty crisp... Flavors are on a similar wavelength with grassy semi-bright citrusy hops. Very light bitterness with a somewhat grassy backend to it which extends well on through the finish. Not bad, just average.

Growler fill from Pizza Port Carlsbad: Poured a golden honey color and created a monstrous sizing of foamed head. As for the aroma, not a whole lot going in this recipe other than a balanced aroma of malt and hops. Flavor is boring and bland with only a touch of malts and almost no evidence of hops despite the listing on the board that this was a fresh wet hop pale ale. Sort of reminds me of a home made brew. I’m disappointed I went with this beer instead of something else. I guess that’s my fault babe for not requesting a sample.

On tap in Pizza Port, Carlsbad, pours a clear golden color. Aroma is like a fresh citrus bowl, predominately peaches with sweet hops. Taste is tropical fruit with pleasant hops. Finish is sweet with some bitterness. Nice 8 / 10

28/12/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Pizza Port Tap Takeover. Dorata, limpidissima, schiuma bianca abbondante e persistente. Aroma fruttatissimo, con note pinose e leggermente erbacee. In bocca è amara decisa ma ben bilanciata, leggermente erbacea, si lascia bere abbastanza facilmente. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione corretta. Un po’ timida, ma non male.
