Very nice, I love it. My first taste of Port IPA. Right off the bat, I could smell that it was the real deal. The nose on this one is hopped up and right on point. Its resiny, piney, lumberyard, cedar, sweet, spicy, alco-esters, apricots, and citron. Appearance is clean, smooth, amber orange red, beautiful. Taste....OMG...pine needles, lupulin, nuggets, cedar, hops, hops, hops, leather, alcohols, refreshing, crisp, spice left over, delicious. Palate is covered in resinous hops, alochol esters, 2x4 boards, for a 10% offering the alcohol is there but undercover nicely. Just a really well thought out, balanced, hopped up, version of an IPA. Awesome. Get one

Poured into a sniffer from 22oz bottle. Appearance is nice, light with a thick white head. Aroma is so hoppy my teeth cringed! Flavour is hoppy, but smooth. Finishes dry and clean. Mouth feel is nice, medium body, and lively carbonation. This is a great double IPA!

this pours an eggshell colored multi-sized bubble small head that dissipates quickly.....amberish yellow-red look. nose is citrus, piney, orange zest with a slight lemon peel under. taste is well balanced. hoppy and yummy/citrus delight. mouthfeel is stunning, the bitterness just right with the malt bankbone rambling till a delightfully dry finish. grapefuit..lime , orange peel. great great beer. dangerously drinkable for a 10% beer.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2011 GA now has Port and Lost Abbey on the shelves! Bomber about 1 month old, drank on 1/21/11. pours a deep orange with a 1/4" white head... which fades away. huge citrus hop aromas with lively orange notes, some apricot and a touch of pineapple. big chewy body filled with citrus hop goodness. lots of orange notes along with other citrus fruits. a solid bitterness fills the mouth with some deep sweet malts towards the back of the mouth. a spicy bitter finish coats the throat and the tip of the mouth. this is liquid gold!
bomber courtesy of fordest! This is a total HOP bomb. Truly excellent IIPA. Aromas of apricot, spices and citrus. I wish I could buy this beer locally, b/c I would regularly. Pours a wonderful deep golden amber with minimal head. Great flavor from top to bottom.
