COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First brewed in 2002 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the original Pizza Port location in Solana Beach, we searched high and low and combined 15 of our favorite hops which were added every 15 minutes to the boil. Somewhat darker than other Double IPA style beers, our beer oozes the hop goodness of pine needles, freshly squeezed citrus and ground spices which are only moderately tempered by a sweet malt finish. Thankfully, for all of us hopheads, we have decided to brew this beer more than once a year. Look for Hop 15 to make appearances from time to time when space permits us to brew this, one of our favorite ales.

Pours clear amber, with a thin white head, good lacing. Smells of pine and grapefruit, with a slight undertone of caramel and hay. Medium body, slightly dry. The flavor is much like the smell, has good subtle malt flavors, and a complex hop profile, with a delicious and fairly strong bitter finish.

22oz bottle. Pours hazy orange with medium off white creamy head. Long lasting foam. Aroma is stunning: hoppy floral and spicy notes are sorrounded by a mango sweetness. Lots of yeasty and malty notes, with hints of alcohol too. Taste is great: lots of complexity with a spicy bitterness softened by a sweet caramel sensation. Lots of grassy-spicy flavors. Alcohol is almost unperceivable. Body is full with medium carbonation. Overall, a great IIPA.

Pours a slightly hazy orange/gold with white head. Aroma of citrus/pine hops with grapefruit, malt, honey. Taste is the same, great balanced beer with a huge but not overbearing hop finish. Fantastic DIPA. Cheers!

Bottle. Pours an orange, cloudy liquid with a medium-sized, off-white head. Aroma is fruity and grassy with lots of floral hop notes. Taste is a bit acidic and quite bitter with lots of grapefruit and some pineapple. Long, bitter finish. A really nice DIPA.

A wonderully floral and earthy, slightly grassy with a light pine smell. A syrupy mouthful with bitter, slightly grainy flavor. A long lasting finish, that retains the hoppy, bitter floral flavor.

Hazy amber/orange color; Medium creamy body; Aroma of pine hops, caramel malt, citrus, & some fruit; Flavor of slight sweet malt, caramel, rich pine hops, some mango/pineapple, and citrus (notably tangerine & grapefruit); Finish is dry & bitter; Nicely balanced & complex; Overall, packs a wallop of hops - excellent IPA.
