650 ml bottle from Bevmo. Pours a slightly cloudy rich copper color with a one finger off-white head that last a while. The aroma is strong and layered with citrus fruits (mostly grapefruit, some lemon and a little lime.) The flavor, like the aroma, showcases the citrus fruits, but it does not stop there--also apparent is vanilla, caramel, pine and cotton candy. All these flavors are set in a biter hops backdrop that makes for a wonderful complexity. The mouthfeel is full, smooth and creamy. The finish is long and sweet with vanilla and hops. Overall: One of the great San Diego IPA’s. Recommended.

Cloudy dark brown color, white head. Sweet malty and hoppy scent. Sweet and bitter hoppy taste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness.

Aug 25, 2008 Beautiful smell, hops in every variety, citrus, pine, spices, and fruit. Appearance, dark ruby copper golden gorgeous. Nice white head. Flavor: pine hops and spicy hops. Palate is also full bodied and very bitter, dry bitter. Great beer. I do love hops a lot and this shows off some good ones but also almost over does it on the finish.

Aug 22, 2008 scent is full of floral hops. taste is very hoppy and has some alcohol taste as well. alcohol is still pretty well hidden given the fact that it is 10.5%. finish is smooth. I would purchase this again.

Aug 22, 2008 Thanks to kegbear for this one. Pour is a deep hazy holden with a creamy off white head. Aroma is up front hoppy with pine and caramel. Flavor is very bitter hops with strong caramel malt and sweetness. Very strong flavor overall masking the alcohol very well.

Aug 22, 2008 bomber from a tade with suzygreenburg. pour beautiful hazy orange with a rocky tan head. aromas of pine, grapefruit and citrus. flavours are similar with some caramel malts in the middle. not overly bitter and hella drinkable. this stuff is dangerous, i could drink gallons! thx mr bottoms!!
