22oz bottle. Pours a very heady deep amber color with fairly loose foam, moderate retention and great lacing. Aroma is a bit more subdued that what I was expecting, a sort of muddy sweet citrus pine. Flavor is just as confused, a bit of sweetness and lots of varied bitterness, fairly bitter finish. Hides the alcohol well and gets bonus points for bottle conditioning.

Aug 20, 2008 Murky copper with little head. Grapefruit, hops, pine sap, and citrus on the nose. Flavor is smooth with definite malt and sticky resinous qualities. Nice palate. Remarkable brew.

Aug 18, 2008 Pours hazy peach with one finger head that leaves a nice thick lacing. Aroma is flowery, citrusy, sweet and resinous with every hop angle covered- from grapefruit to pine. Flavor is much more mild mannered than expected- very resinous with grassy, fruity, and flowery hop character. Sweet malt character provides excellent balance. Palate is sticky and smooth with a dry finish. One of my favorites of the style.

Aug 18, 2008 A wonderful treat that helps celebrate the end of a work week. Caramel custard, piney and citrus hops. Possibly my favorite beer, trying this beer could change peoples entire perception on 100 IBU beers.
