May 7, 2009 Pour showed little carbonation, with a small dense white head. It poured a solid golden yellow color, couldnt see anything through it.
Smelled of piney hops.
Mouthfeel was a little oily, tasted of bright pine hops with a citrus finish, alcohol is not too visible.

May 6, 2009 On tap at Pizza Port. clear golden amber with a fizzy white head. Great grapefruit and pine aroma. Deep rich pine and citrus taste with a good caramel sweetness and a bitter bite.

Feb 13, 2009 Enjoyed at Stone World Bistro and Gardens. A luminescently yellow/amber beer. Has a pillowy white head that dissipated quickly. Arome is of huge fresh hops, like being in the field during harvest. This is the most fresh-tasting hoppy beer that I have ever had. Lots of fresh resin tastes on the palate. Quite enjoyable, especially for a DIPA.

Jan 25, 2009 Draft@ Great Alaska Beer and Barleywine Festival. Clear light amber with a white head. Big pine and floral hop aromas. Medium body. Classic floral and citrusy hop flavors riding a bittersweet caramel base brew. A DIPA to double your pleasure.

Jan 18, 2009 (11/3/08) Draught at Pizza Port in Carlsbad (thanks DenverLogan for letting me try this). Hazy golden-orange color. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops. Bitter hoppy flavor with pine, resinous notes, light citric notes and some alcohol.

Dec 30, 2008 Tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s. Aroma is absolutely stupendous. Rather bright citrusy nose, tropical fruit, mango, grapefruit, pineapple and passionfruit. Orangey and citrusy with a soft perfumy muskiness behind it. Flavour is equally incredible. Initially loaded with bright tropical hop oils, citrus, lemon/orange/grapefruit and mango. It smells and tastes like a hop field... perhaps the most perfectly hoppy smelling beers I’ve ever come across. Flavour is surprisingly soft and delicate with a resinousness that just scream "fresh". It’s like pure hop essence in a glass. Goddamn, this is not a bad start to the day at all.

Dec 28, 2008 Great Double IPA. Pours a hazy gold-orange with an off-white head that stays for a while and leaves great lacing. Aroma of exotic fruits with mango, and a pit of pine and caramel sweetness. Taste is wow, hop city! Lots of pungent, sticky, chewy, dank hops a bit nutty and caramel finish. Syrupy, mouthfilling and chewy with biting carbonation.
