WOW! Best beer of the day. Splendid hazy orange pour with a big nose of hop, spice and caramel malt.
Taste was a bit grapefruit, grass and sweet malts. The blend was perefectly balanced. The dry finish left me wanting more. DAMN IT! Why didn’t I buy two of these?

Served on tap at the San Diego Brewers Guild Festival 2010.The appearance is a crystal clear golden brown. The aromas are full of bitter hops with a good amount of flower characteristics. The flavors are very hoppy with a lot of dry grapefruit and orange zest. The mouth is full and a touch syrupy. Another tasty super hoped brew from the Port family.

Draft. Bronze beer with a nice white head. Sweet malt aroma thats dominated by hops - big hop aroma with grapefruit and summer fruits. Big grapefruit/summer fruit flavor with lingering grapefruit bitterness. Some pine notes, but more fruity hops. Rich body and alcohol well hidden. Delicious.

hazed bronze, lacy off-white head. nose of tangerine with a touch of sweet pine. spicey hop flavors with astringent bitterness. grilled orange touches. the spicy christmas pine flavors are quite nice and a nice welcome to autumn...the balance here is nice as well with caramel painted citrus. the bitterness is firm, spice is nice, and citrus caramel rounds things out. i dig it.

GABF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy and also with notes of the alfaacid. The flavor has notes of grass, grapefruit, spices, and hops - going overboard and lending the beer an acidity from the hops and showing off the alfaacids.

Pour is nice golden yellow with a dense white head...smell is citric and grapefruit with lots of piney resin character...taste is not as overpoweringly hoppy as I smelled...nice and sweet with a clean crisp bitter finish...
