Tap at PP Carlsbad. Pours nice sunset orange with a 1 finger head. Lacing for days. Dank citrus hops with just a hint of malt in the background. Little bit of heat in the nose. Taste is citrus hop, grapefruit, peanut shell, pepper, biscuit and orange peel. This is one thick IPA. Nice and chewy mouth feel with a nice tongue coating resin. Nice burn as it goes down. This is one that to me gives Younger a run for its money.

GABF 2007. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy and also with notes of the alfaacid. The flavor has notes of grass, grapefruit, spices, and hops - going overboard and lending the beer an acidity from the hops and showing off the alfaacids.

On-tap @ PP C’Bad. Came in a pint glass with a nice sticky frothy white head on it. Looks a dark yellow almost orange color. Smells of straight up smells of hops. Piney and citrusy and hoppy. This is the hoppiest beer that I have ever had. Well, I guess as far as the citrusy, piney, still bitter and not the least bit sweet, type of hoppiness. Not the almost sickly sweet hoppiness of say, 120 Min. Palate is thick and hop syrupy but still smooth. Bitter, with great carbonation. Awesome hoppy beer. But it would probably kill your tongue after a couple.

On tap @ Pizza Port Carlsbad. Medium amber with a reddish hue. Generous head with nice lacing. Big floral hop aroma, full bodied and lingered on the pallet for days. A great IIPA!!

On tap at PPC. Golden amber with big, lingering head; floral hop aroma. Big hops but not as grapefruit as many. Slight caramel, orange zest, grass. Rich and lovely...easily one of my favorites.
