SCBrew (18), San Clemente, California, USA Aug 15, 2008 Pours a nice amber with sustaining head. Big malt and bigger hop aroma. Very fruity. Huge hop flavor profile followed by maltines. Big body, but easy drinking. Medium carbonation. My favorite Pizza Port SC beer! Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 10, 2008 Draft in San Clemente. A hazy amber beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with a super lovely hop note lending the beer grass and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet again with a super lovely and very fresh hoppy note of grass, grapefruit, pine needles, and spices. Great. yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 6, 2008 From tap in San CLemente. Pours slight cloudy deep golden orange with a lacing white head. Peachy and fruity hops aroma. Solid grapefruity and mild peachy hops flavour. Dense caramel flavour beneath too. Goes into a nicely sweet, bitter and fruity finish. Nicely balanced and flavourful. hapjydeuce (558), Carlsbad, California, USA Jul 30, 2008 On tap at O’Briens with Katie. A great refreshing beer, I think this might be a double IPA. Amber color with a rocky white head and big lacing. Super sappy pine resin aroma with orange peel and crystal malt. Grassy hop flavor with grapefruit citrus and sweet malts. Ends with lasting bitterness and a satisfying mouth-feel. Kind of like Doheny Double IPA, but less intense. Vac (2231), San Diego, California, USA Jul 21, 2008 On tap at Toronado San Diego. Pours wtih an amber-orange body topped by a medium thick, off-white head with a good amount of lacing. It’s hoppy, bitter adn full of piney hop notes with underlying citrus notes and a slighty sweet malt note. Medium bodied and well carbonated.
