IrishBoy (2057), Bakersfield, California, USA Jun 5, 2008 Draft at Pizza Port Carlsbad; Nose of light citrusy hoppiness; gold with a small glass-lacing white head; flavor is light lemony hop bitterness. Angeloregon (1549), Portland, Oregon, USA May 2, 2008 On tap at Downtown Johnny Brown’s in San Diego--Clear straw golden (slightly orange) body with a sleek, thin, creamy white head and plenty of lacing. Fruity, bready, creamy nose. English pub style with creamy sweetness. Clean, easy drinking, quite good. JorisPPattyn (4247), Antwerpen, Belgium Apr 22, 2008 Draught Good white head, some lace; yellow beer. Hops, but not really US - more noble EU hops, possible? Rather bitterish-hoppy. Seems very pilsner-like, especially thanks to the somewhat rubbery-flavouring hops. Light to medium bodied. Served too cold to be appreciated fully. Strange. It has actually US hops, and is top fermented, and shows little signs of either. doubleo (683), San Diego, California, USA Mar 6, 2008 On-tap at PP C’Bad. Really? XPA? Pours a cloudy white yellow color. Thin, crisp white head. Smells light and crispy malty, somewhat sweet. Tastes light and very crisp. Light like a BMC yet tastey like a micro. Very grainy, somewhat sweet, yellow malty style. Thin, very crisp mouthfeel with crisp active carbonation. Nice, yellow brew, I guess. CRISP.
