Apr 21, 2008 Solana Beach. Pours hazy gold with a bubbly white head. Wheat, hops, banana, and spice in the nose. Taste is a cross between a German hefe and a California XPA. Good amount of banana, yeast esters, and spice up front before the pepper and resin of the hops take hold. Different, but still good.

Apr 11, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This little brother to the Big Wednesday pours a lightly hazed yellow color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily. Top ring of lacing on the glass. Aroma of wheat, mild hops and yeast. Light-bodied and moderately spicy with wheat and bitter hops flavors, along with some yeast. The finish is sweetly spiced with a lingering hoppy flavor. Seems a little disjointed but decent overall.
