Pours a lightly hazed golden orange color with a white head. Wonderful citrus and citrus peel aroma along with hints of pine, tropical fruit, and grass. Just a hint of bread/malt. The flavor is just as good. Nice crisp hopppiness and plenty of citrus with a moderate pine and grapefruit bitterness. A touch of malt in the background. One of the better beers from San Clemente in awhile.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at PP San clemente. Slightly hazy golden pour, sticky off white head. Bitter citrusy hops, tropical fruit, fresh lemon zest, and light caramel sweetness. A nice fresh tasting IPA.

Tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. Oh yesssssss. Clear light golden to bright yellow pour with no specialty malt BS. Sheety, complete 360 white lace. Nose is ultra dank citrus hops with lemongrass, tangerine, pineapple, unrripe mango. Softer nose with tremendous hop fruitiness. Taste is super grassy bitter, quenching, very nutty with no specialty malt stickiness, no cheese, no stale toffee, no old caramel. Pineapple and tangerine heavy with loads of bitter curacao and grapefruit pith. So many great IPA characteristics. None of the typical IPA flavors that I am starting to hate. So fresh and clean. Thank you Ryan whoever you are!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Toronado SD, $5 shaker. Yellow gold with a 1 1/2 finger creamy white head, great retention. Huuuge pine tree spruce nose, bitter citrus rinds, dry biscuit toast behind. Zero hints of sweetness so far. I get some floral hops as it warmed. Flavor continues with the pine, added woody hops, light lemon tang from wherever the hell that is. Dry finish, bitterness peaked at an 8. Damn bitter. Mod carbonation with a medium body. Not bad, but not necessarily what I want in an IPA. Too bitter and piny for my taste.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: Floral, citrus. Very pleasant.
Appearance: Light golden pour with a white head that dissipates quickly. Slightly hazy.
Taste: Bitter, slightly abrasive. Has some acidity.
Palate: Light body with a dry finish. Some astringency.
Overall: Enjoyable beer with pizza. This was a decent beer but the bitterness could be smoother to help make it more drinkable.

Clear bright yellow with a fluffy white head. Skunky grassy yard work aroma and taste with a dirty earthy finish and a decent bitter bite.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Beachwood BBQ Seal Beach. Pours with a lightly hazed golden hued body with a frothy and retentive egg shell hued head that leaves great lace. Great West Coast IPA aroma, very fresh smelling. All hops: tropical fruit, tangerine, mango, light resin, and dank overall. Minimal malt with a light toasted graininess (nearly nutty). Flavors are fruity, with a light sharp (almost out of place) character malt grainy quality (not crystal, but a higher toasted malt, almost victory like, but probably darker munich). Lots of tropical fruit, resin, kind of amarillo like among others. Light pine and citrus. Lively bubbles, dry. Finishes with a lasting, medium bitterness (although it is a firm bitterness up front). Great beer.
