thick black pour, half finger of creamy caramel head. Nose is big roasted chocolate and coffee. Thick mouthfeel, big roasted espresso taste. Quite fantastic, as is every variant of this beer that I’ve had.

Draught @ Sorbon, Bromma. Pitch black, opaque color, full sized brown head. Smell malts, dark malts, roastyness, slightly sweet, slightly alcohol. Taste malts, dark malts, roasted malts, hops, bitterness. Full body, med carbonation.

Keg at CPK, London. Pours oily, black-brown with a fine, beige cream head. Aroma is all kinds of dark cocoa, moderate roast, some alcohol. Nice flavor, robust but not overbearing, with lots of dusty roast and rich baking cocoa, light earth and dirt. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with more baking cocoa, faint dark fruits and earthy bitterness, touches of raisins and light booze. Very nice Impy Stout.

Tap @ Sour & Bitter. Black body with a small brown head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt. Flavor is chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, light hops. Medium carbonation.

Draught at Ölrepubliken, Göteborg, Sweden. Black with a beige head. Chocolatey roasted aroma with some dark berries. Medium bodied, soft carbonation. Semi sweet, medium bitterness.

Draught. Black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma: freshly ground coffee beans, chocolate. Taste: milk chocolate, sweet licorice, light rubber, some coffee, citrus fruits. Alcohol is nowhere to be found. Finishes in a light grapefruit bitterness. Medium-bodied, smooth. Not very complex, this is all about balance, and just very tasty.

Black color, brown head. Malty, sweet, caramel taste. Alcohol bite and caramel aftertaste. Medium to smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Sweet, malty, hoppy scent.

Keg at Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, London. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Rich, boozy, roasty aroma. Tastes similar, rich, slight sweetness, some coffee and chocolate, roasty. Decent stout but doesnt compare to the beautiful coffee monster that I consumed before this.
