Clear medium amber with a small off-white head, fadingto a thick film and ttattered film rather quickly. Toasted grain and honey in the nose. Flavor is of toasted grain, very light Concord grapes, a bit of honey and a little noble hops. Minimal bitterness. Low carbonation with a medium body. Actually pretty tasty. Would’ve wanted more carbonation, but a very easy drinker.

On tap @ Pizza Port Ocean Beach: Poured a dirty brass color and was topped by a perfect pillow of foam head. The aroma is faint with only a mild scent of balanced malt and hops. The drink comes up short with a watered down beer flavor with only a background of lightly toasted caramel malts and a slightly soapy hop flavor as well. Nothing special and was actually very disappointing.

A: The beer pours a golden straw color with a finger of white head.
S: Smells like a pretty typical blonde ale. Lots of corn and some sweet grain, malt, and bread. Not really any hop aroma, maybe some floral notes. A bit of toffee and that’s all, folks.
T: It’s pretty sweet with the corn taking the lead again. There is a bit of bread and maybe even some actual malt flavor. A bit of lemon zest, grass, and straw from the hops is in there, too.
M: Light to medium on the palate with a moderate carbonation.
D: Pretty much what you expect from a blonde ale: meh.
