3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2012 Rerate. Tastes fresher and less grainy, better hops and fresher pasta notes. Still like Party Pants the best. Old review follows.Tap at OB, phone rate. Clear golden with a creamy white, down to a thin film. Aroma of biscuit malts and a tinge of lemon, light grassy hay.Flavor is a bit grainy with some pasta and hay citrus. Getting some honey as well. Dry finish, bitterness at a 3. Low prickly carbonation with a creamy light body. Not too bad of a oils, though I like Party Pants the best. Port Pils comes in third. Old rating--6-3-7-4-13--3.3

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap @ OB: Had a grassy aroma of hay and grain. Liquid was a golden blonde and was topped with a minimal amount of white head. The flavor was boring and bland but hey it was a pilsner. Nothing special at all but it was easily quaffable and might be more enjoyable during hot weather instead of a cold winter night at the beach.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Served on tap at Port OB. The appearance is a crystal clear, very pale gold. Almost no head. The aromas are grainy with a corn aromas to it. Light noble hops too. The flavors are the same with grainy corn and some light hop additions. A stylistically solid brew but pilseners just don’t do anything for me.
