A: The pour is a pale golden straw color with some light haze with the usual fluffy nitro-tap head on it. S: The nose is...popcorn? Not the buttered variety that you often get with a crappy beer from the middle of nowhere, but popcorn. Not really much else there, to be honest. T: A bit of water and some more popcorn. The hops arenít really anywhere to be found, maybe they peak out with a touch of lemon or earthiness. M: The body is insanely light and the carbonation is that sort of creamy/watery carbonation that only the nitrogen can provide. D: This was a really strange and just not good beer. I donít know who decided to make this or sell it the way it is.

Nitro at PPC. Nitro white foam atop still golden amber. Weak vanilla nose. Taste is acidic citrus, decently buttery biscuit, lemon tea finish. Very light palate. Easy to session.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2010 Sample at the San Clemente brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a thin and densely packed white head that disappears slowly. Sticky sheet of lacing on the glass. Bready malt and sweet corn in the nose. Light and creamy body with flavors of sweet malt, toffee and mild hops. The finish is short with a lingering sweetness. Slightly above average overall.

Draft at PP Carlsbad. Hazy gold pour, large white head. Malt, grainy biscuit, light citrus, and some bitterness. Mostly that bread flavor and pretty light. OK.

Nitro PP OB. Clear light gold with one finger nitro head. Muted nose of toasty malt, a bit of fruity English yeast, light herbal woody hops. Flavor is more woody and herbal hops, light toast. Earthy finish with bitterness at a 2. Either way, pretty light. Scant carb with a light body. Not flawed, just nothing here. I probably wonít bother again, but mainly due to the blandness.
