Light Amber color. Light malty backbone. Simple american pale and that does not much for me.

11/10/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Ambrata scarica, limpida, abbondante perlage, schiuma bianca morbida, molto persistente.

On tap at Pizza Port Ocean Beach. After a bunch of IPAs, this one tastes a little weak and malty with subdued fruit, melon, citrus. Iím sure itís better before a bunch of hop monsters. Very decent and drinkable.

Tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours a clear orange with a smaller, off-white head. Excellent sheety lacework. Nose brings herbal and squashy noble hop character with some fruity, melony NZ like hops. Taste is fruit juicy, melon flesh, jackfruit, butternut squash. Quenching and juicy. No apparent bitterness, no cheese, no nut skin astringency. Solid stuff. Weird English hop flavors Iím not used to in IPAs/APAs. Very good nevertheless.

On tap. Pours with a clear orange body with a lasting white head. Great lace. Aromas of orange, tea, citrus, slightly dank, tropical fruit. Grainy, grapefruit, light esters. Flavors of citrus, orange, tropical fruit. A light and dry malt character. Really nice! Medium bubbles. Great pale ale.

I liked this a lot. Nice hoppy aroma with some malt sweetness. The flavor was a light hop, not to overpowering. Very easy drinking. Dry finish. A go to beer for the summer.

Clear amber color/ ivory head. Big ass ganja bud, tropical fruit, floral hoppy aromas. Medium bodied. Nice grainy caramel malt flavors with floral, pine hoppage--great hop aromas here--

A: The pour is a clear golden amber color with a nice white head and some sticky lacing. S: A bit on the malty side with a lot of bread aromas. The aroma is light overall, but there are some hop notes. They seem to be mild citrus, straw, and some grass. T: The flavor starts off fairly hop forward. Mostly citrus peel with a little bit of bitterness. Some grass and floral hop flavors are also there and the bread and malt provide the bulk of the flavor. M: Light to medium in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: Sort of underwhelming. Not really hoppy but not all that malty either.
