2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ Pizza Port Ocean Beach: Poured a golden blonde liquid with absolutely no formation of head. Aroma is bland and empty with no such smells other than a minor scent of grains. The taste is bland and has nothing special other than some soapy and grainy flavors. Sure this is easily quaffable, but at the same time dull and very forgettable.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Served on tap at Port OB. The appearance is a fairly pale yellow gold with a small white head. A nice creamy under ripe apricot, and a light kiss of hop. A touch boring but it is a cream ale so no complaints.

Tap at OB. Clear straw with lasting one finger white head. Aroma if sweet malt and corn. Flavor follows with mild fruity yeast, pretty mild. Semi-dry with scant bitterness. Prickly light to moderate carbonation with a light watery body. I like Spotted Cow much better.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: The pour is a clear, pale yellow color with a fluffy white head accompanying it.
S: Not surprisingly this smells like corn, quite a bit of corn, actually. There’s a slight grain and bread sweetness along with a touch of grassy hops. But the nose is really light overall.
T: Sweet and full of corn with a decent graininess to it. There’s a lot of grassy hop flavor to it. As the beer warms up, it sort of has a little lactose type flavor to it.
M: The body is quite light, maybe approaching medium, with a moderate to high carbonation.
D: It’s pretty light and easy to drink for the person that doesn’t feel like slamming one of the DIPAs, but there are better light options.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at the source. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a small, just off-white head (not sure why). Aromas are lightly sweet, floral, bready and grainy. Flavors have a slight salinity to them, straw, corn, bready, a bit sweet. Very lively carbonation masks a slightly thin body. Very respectable cream ale.
