Tap at Craftheads event. Aroma is great, berries, spice and bit of chocolate! Taste is good too, prickly but not overly hoppy or spicy. Lots of malt, fruit again, hint of booze, strawberry jam. Nice stuff.

Pours red with a lot of foam, good lacings. Aroma is fruity, sweetish and has loads of depth. Really nice. Taste has fruits too, mainly nice bitter rowans.Dry aftertaste and some malty breadiness coming out too. Long rowan bitterness, truly a masterpiece. Slow drinker. Need to have this again.

Deep red color. Big frothy rocky white head. Big malty nose with tropical fruit, sweet dried strawberries, pralines, a touch of cotton candy. Wow. Great nose. Big malty mouth with sweet luscious strawberries and raspberries and a touch of tootie roll. Fair amount of hops for a red ale. Really nice malty finish with raspberries and tootie rolls. Love this stuff.

Keg at PP OB, 13/11/14. Clear reddish amber with a moderate beige swirl atop the glass. Nose is caramel malt, floral notes, red grapefruit, pine, bitter orange, spice, mineral tones. Taste comprises candied fruit peel, caramel, sweet licks, bitter tropical fruit rinds, chalky minerals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough tucker.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice clear copper body that supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up maltiness, some nuttiness, biscuit and then with some thin layers of citrus hoppiness and floral hop notes. Wow, the flavor is malts, sweet malts, a little bit of roasted malts and then big earthy tea notes that I just love. This goes together very well. Midway the earthy tea is joined by citrus hops and heading like this into the finish. Wow! I love this.
