On tap at brewery. Pours a light bodied golden hue with small white bubbly head. Craggy lacing on the sides. Aromas of amazing citra hops, most notably tangerin, orange peel, resinous fuel, chinook. Soft mouth feel and taste with load of juicy hop nugget flavors, tangerine, creamy malts. An awesome pale.

Draft at Haymarket, pours clear gold white head nose citrus grapefruity, floral and touc perfumy fruity grape, flavors grapefruity earthy clementines, touch bland and doughy, finishes a bit dry and doughy without much hop flavor, does the job of a good ipa.

Isnít this technically an IPA? Tap @ Port Carlsbad. Pours a mostly clear deep gold with a frothy white head. Great citrus hop aromas with a light biscuity malt base, a damn fine beer.

Pizza port pants optional pale ale. On tap at hay market... Pours a paler mostly transparent lighter orange hue with a creamy off-white head... Aroma is crisp citrus, somewhat dank. Citra presence for sure... Crisp lively citrus and mild dankness. Body is light. Semi- sweet with pale biscuity malt. Easily drinkable with light lively body. 8/4/7/4/14

NobleSquirrel (3437) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2011
Draft at Haymarket. Pours a clear golden orange with a fluffy white head. Nose is really great. Bright citrus with a firm tropical fruit component. Not much in terms of malt in the nose. Very bright and popping aromatics. On taste, it comes across a bit thin. Plenty of hop flavor, just lacking the bitterness to really support the really floral component of the flavor profile. A touch catty as well. Very solid overall.

Draft on tap at Haymarketís Pizza Port Event (Chicago, IL). Pours a pale golden hue, with just a faint haze, light carbonation but a big cakey frothed bright white head that stays big and laces well. Aromas are a lot of melons, peaches, touches of white grape, with lemons, grass, bready pale malts and cereal grains. Initial is quite fruity, white grapes and melons mesh into bigger lemons, bitter florals, touches of grass. More white grapes, crisp citrus, pale malts and bread and light, preaching a big fruity hoppy quality and good bitter dry hops into the finish. Touches of fuzzy peach, white grapes, and lemon. Really nice high flavor, easyily crushable pale here. Dry and fruity. Man, these hopped PPort beers are damn good. Finishes a little light, but itís really good. More complex fruit flavors, easily drinkable.

Super clear gold with a nice tan head... Aroma is awesome, really nice tropical fruits, balanced with some really smooth grass and pine combo of hops... The taste is a bit of a disappointment, its too hoppy for me, loses balance, mostly just bitter resin, a hint of grass... Mouthfeel is a bit off, a little rough... Good, not great but Iíd drink again

On tap at PP Carlsbad. Bright clear golden pour, frothy white head. Citrusy hops, grapefruit, notes of tropical fruit, light caramel malt, and slightly bready, and with a bit of bitter hops. Really fresh, tasty pale ale, easily "sessionable".
