Pours a clear golden color with a white head and good lacing. Citrus peel, grass, and pine hops with a light floral character. Some bready malt, but note much in the way of sweetness. The pine is quite strong on the palate and gives the beer a pronounced bitterness. Bready malt, but again, not much sweetness. A bit of floral and citrus peel hop flavor to it as well.

Draft with Linh at pizza port Carlsbad. Pours a clear amber body with sure lacing. Aroma is fresh citrus hope, grapefruit, and pine. Mouthfeel is aggressive pine hop, which tends to dominate with subtle notes of citrus, bitter grapefruit skin and hop resin.

BMan1113VR (7917) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 3, 2012
On tap at the source. Pours with a crystal clear golden body with a lasting white head. Aromas are of pineapple, citrus, mango, dank, tropical fruit. All hops at West Coast IPA levels. Minimal malt. Flavors are of hops: citrus, dank, pineapple, grassy, tropical fruit. Low malt presence. A bit thin on the mouthfeel (I guess this is suppose to be a Pale Ale after all), medium bubbles. Quite a nice hoppy beer.

Draft at Haymarket, pours clear gold white head nose citrus grapefruity, floral and touc perfumy fruity grape, flavors grapefruity earthy clementines, touch bland and doughy, finishes a bit dry and doughy without much hop flavor, does the job of a good ipa.

Isn’t this technically an IPA? Tap @ Port Carlsbad. Pours a mostly clear deep gold with a frothy white head. Great citrus hop aromas with a light biscuity malt base, a damn fine beer.

Pizza port pants optional pale ale. On tap at hay market... Pours a paler mostly transparent lighter orange hue with a creamy off-white head... Aroma is crisp citrus, somewhat dank. Citra presence for sure... Crisp lively citrus and mild dankness. Body is light. Semi- sweet with pale biscuity malt. Easily drinkable with light lively body. 8/4/7/4/14

NobleSquirrel (3438) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 2, 2011
Draft at Haymarket. Pours a clear golden orange with a fluffy white head. Nose is really great. Bright citrus with a firm tropical fruit component. Not much in terms of malt in the nose. Very bright and popping aromatics. On taste, it comes across a bit thin. Plenty of hop flavor, just lacking the bitterness to really support the really floral component of the flavor profile. A touch catty as well. Very solid overall.
