3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On draft at PB Taproom in San Diego. Arrived in the glass a clear medium amber color with a small whitish head. Aroma of caramel malts, a little fruit and light floral notes. Flavor again with the caramel and some toasty malts which become more pronounced as the ale warms, dusty/ashy ashy notes and tangy floral hops in the finish. Medium body and tingly carbonation. Another solid beer from PP.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On cask at the Carlsbad PP. For the style this was well above average. Aroma was heavy on the citrus with only a minimal toffee presence. Flavor was very much the same, but with some more caramel and pine emerging. Some sweetness too.
