From tap at San Clemente. Pours black with a lacing light tan head. Liqourice and hard roasted malt aroma. Flavour is liqourice at first with a solid roasted malt flavour following. A bit flat on carbonation. Coffiesh flavoured too. Ends slight acidic from the roasted malt. Mild bitter too.

Pours with a dark brown to black body topped by a medium thick creamy head with lots of lacing. It’s roasty with a very slight chocolate and coffee note, however not necesarrily in a good way. medium to full bodied and smooth.

On tap @ O’Brien’s San Diego. Poured a deep chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Nose of Molasses, Caramel and Chocolate. Medium in body and very creamy. I’m not a big fan of porters, this beer didn’t do a whole lot for me.

Poured with nitrogen at Pizza Port Carlsbad. I love nitrogen beer. They look and feel great with a nice creamy head. Mild caramel aroma. Deep, dark color, but no roasted grain bitterness. Slightly sweet, A great everyday dinking beer.
