Pours with a dark brown to black body topped by a medium thick creamy head with lots of lacing. It’s roasty with a very slight chocolate and coffee note, however not necesarrily in a good way. medium to full bodied and smooth.

On tap @ O’Brien’s San Diego. Poured a deep chocolate brown with a thin tan head. Nose of Molasses, Caramel
and Chocolate. Medium in body and very creamy. I’m not a big fan of porters, this beer didn’t do a whole lot for me.

Poured with nitrogen at Pizza Port Carlsbad. I love nitrogen beer. They look and feel great with a nice creamy head. Mild caramel aroma. Deep, dark color, but no roasted grain bitterness. Slightly sweet, A great everyday dinking beer.

dark brown with ruby edges, fine beige head, nice lace, chocolate malt aroma, thin body, sweet chocolate flavor with a hint of licorice, touch of tartness, a bit of roasted and then lots of lasting bitterness kicks in at the end

A roasty sour aroma. Dark brown with reddish undertones and a beige head. Flavor is also sour and roasty. Syrupy and sweet. Finish is smooth with hints of chocolate and coffee.

Tap at PP San Clemente; looked really good, dark brown with creamy beige head. Flavor of chocolate, roasted malt and hints of sweetness and vanilla. Enjoyed this one.

On cask at Pizza Port. Dark brown with creamy white head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, and alcohol. Light bodied palate with a creamy mouth feel. Rich chocolate and vanilla taste with a roasty finish.

Served cold, on tap. Dark brown (almost black) with a creamy head. Hints of coffee and chocolate in aroma, both of which are present in taste, with a slightly bitter finish.

Pours an opaque black with dark brown edges and a dense, frothy tan head. Lightly sweet, roasty dark malty aroma has some dark chocolate notes. Starts with a sweet caramely maltiness topped with a touch of roasty malt and a molten dark chocolate finish. A very drinkable and enjoyable porter.
