Vac (2274), San Diego, California, USA May 15, 2008 On cask at O’brien’s. Pours with a cloudy, orange-gold body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet with notes of lemon and a nice grassy hop flavor as well as a little grapefruit. The flavor is very subtle. Light bodied and smooth.
doubleo (966), San Diego, California, USA Apr 22, 2008 On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours light orange with a moderate size white head, good lace all the way down the glass, decent retention. Smells caramelly hoppy with some bright citrus and earthy malts. Tastes earthy and caramelly, great mix of hop floralness and sweet maltiness. Almost nutty but not, and better. Medium body with good carbonation. fordest (1857), Santee/San Diego, California, USA Oct 5, 2007 Tasted during the San Diego Fesival of Beer. Dark yellow with decent head. Lots of citrusy hops. More on the flavor. More bitter on the finish than fruity though. Not Bad WeeHeavySD (2034), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Sep 11, 2007 13th sample Stone Anniversary Fest XI.
