riversideAK (1757), Shoreline, Washington, USA Aug 7, 2007 Gold with brown hue. Very floral aroma and flavor. A coaty floral perfumey dry mouthfeel. A nice hoppy pale ale. Ungstrup (11713), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 1, 2005 [At GABF 2004] An orange beer with a small dense white head. The aroma is grassy and hoppy, while the flavor is lovely hoppy and grassy combined with a nice maltyness, leading to a dry very bitter end. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA Jan 20, 2005 (Draft: Pizza Port in San Clemente, CA) Lightly sweet and malty, but easily balanced by a citrusy, moderately bitter hoppiness that maintains nice balance through to the finish. The citrus is not a strong grapefruit flavor though. The palate is fairly clean with a mild crispness in the finish, but there’s enough malt for a substantial mouthfeel. The nose is mostly cirtusy hops with a light malt background. Medium gold in color and slightly hazy in appearance. Smallish off-white head fades to a thin film. This is a nice, pleasant pale ale, easy to drink. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA Nov 8, 2004 Draught at Pizza Port San Clemente. A decent APA with a citrus bias, balanced with more hop bitterness than malt, could use a bit more malt character but quite drinkable. bitter (1137), Henderson, Nevada, USA Aug 23, 2004 8th stone ann festival: pours golden brown with a haze, nice tangerine nose. flavors are the same in the mouth crisp fresh hops of citrus and pine. a good solid pale ale, somewhat on the verge of an IPA.
