Golden-bronze. Pear and orange nose with some wood. Pretty amarilloey with quite a bit of sweetness, notes of brown sugar, dalandan soda, that sort of thing.

On tap at O’Brien’s in San Diego--Pale golden amber San Diego-style IPA body with a wispy white head. Sweet, candy, hoppy, floral nose. Sweet malty, faintly cloying mouthfeel. Finished very bitter and sweet and dry. Not bad.

Draught Good, light-yellow head over beautiful old-golden beer. Hops, C-hops, US hops - do I need to elaborate? Yes, because there’s an aroma of FRESH celeri sticks. Bitter, fully dominated by the US hops, and little else. Maybe some caramel malts. Medium bodied, ending a bit harsh. Good IIPA, in the style of the name: workmanlike performance.

Lot of floral characters throughout this. A good floral aroma dn first bite. The hops are showing strong at the very end. Great.

Tap at PP. Pours nice dark gold with small head. Smell is piney hops, bread, toasted malt and light peanut. Taste is same. Peanut after taste. Smooth carbonation and decent lacing. Tasty but not at the top for PP.

On tap at Pizza Port. Pours an orange color with a thin sticky white head. Nice aroma of citrus hops. Nice balance. Nice hop bitterness and plenty of citrus hops with a little bit of earthy hops. Very good.

On-tap at PP C’Bad. Pours an orange yellow color with a thin, creamy, somewhat sticky, white head. Smells subdued, hoppy sweet and earthy. Smells kind of skunky as well, but in a good way, you know, dank, kind buds, etc. Tastes resiny bitter up front and citrusy sweet on the finish. Grassy and caramelly as well. Pretty good but not as good as The Village, try that one if you see it. Medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation

sample from growler thanks to the guys at the Pizza Port Bottle Shop.... a clear golden orange brown pour with a soapy white film of a head.... an enticing aroma of tropical and citrus fruit hops which was very nice.... the flavor was a continuation of the nose but the offered up some earthier and grassier notes along with the fruity hops. then some added bitterness comes into play which was a nice if it was held in better check.... bottomline though is this is still a high quality IPA. glad to have tried it.

had another go of this one at dlday 09. this thing was green, dank and full of vibrant tropical fruit hops. totally drinkable and really hit the spot.
