On cask at O’Brien’s Pub in San Diego. Very sweet yet balanced by a very nice hop schedule and flavor. Nice and smooth on cask with low carbonation to allow a smooth yet hoppy finish.

Draft. Pours a dark orange color, with a well reatined medium off white head. Smells ofrich piney hops, with a bit of grapefruit citrus thrown in there as well. The flavor was definitely big on the hops, althougth there was a decent malt balance in there to help it out a bit like a good double IPA should. Really enjoyed its complexities. The carbonation seemed about right and the hop bitterness was controlledi nthe finish. Nicely done.

Draft... RBSG... This beer rocks!... Hazy yellow ale with a mid-sized, creamy, permanent, white head. Lots of fresh, juicy, yellow grapefruit wafts up from the glass. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. Leans heavily onto the bitter side of balance. A hint of acidity. Lengthy, medium bitter finish. World class imperial ipa!

RBSG 2008. Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Floral pine aroma with underlying citrus. Fairly spicy towards the finish from the hops, dry, crisp and floral.
