Wow, smells wonderful. Tons of citrus hops. This is a very aggressive fresh hop flavor. Top notch SoCal stuff. Donít see how itís pseudo.

On tap at PP San Clemente. Nice amber beer with an almost nonexistent head. Aroma-pine, grapefruit, malty. Taste- fantastic! Really hoppy, sweet malt, well balanced, lingering deliciousness. Muy bien.

dumontn (529) - CHICAGO, Illinois, USA - SEP 25, 2011
Pours dark gold with fluffy 1 finger head and good retention. Aroma is intense green citrus hops, no pine or resin character to speak of, honeylike malt profile. Taste is grapefruit peel, honey, light caramel, long lasting citric aftertaste. Body is medium frothy carbonatoin, creamy mouthfeel, long bitter finish. Overall, highly quaffable, perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness.

Terminus (3231) - Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA - JUN 22, 2011
tap at brewpub-pours orange with a very small white head. nose is pretty typical from PP, but good-tropical fruit paradise huge pineapple and grapefruit, lite cheese, and honey. lite pine flavors and tropical as hell but has a good amount of pine on the finish to dry it out. very well balanced here-decent sweet malt to balance out the firm bitterness. love the long piney finish on this one. cool brew!

On tap in San Clemente, first beer in days and it tasted great! Big pungent nose and citrus aroma. Great clear orangey amber color. Taste is classic west coast IPA where bitter and tropical fruit blend together. I filled my growler with the dangerous double thatwas on and I havenít tried it yet.

SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - AUG 16, 2011
Draught at the brewpub. Clear gold-amber color with a small white head. Big hop aroma of pine, tropical fruit and vanilla. Light malty sweetness in the flavor with some toasted, chewy grain. Bitter and dry finish with lots of grapefruit pith. Nicely balanced and dry hop-bomb. Seemed in the lower alcohol side of IPA, but they didnít have the amount listed.

Tap. Amber with a light but heavy froth. Strong delicious aroma of citrusy hops. Flavor that makes it worth venturing through rush hour from LA. Really solid well balanced citrus forward IPA.
