A: The beer pours a golden color with a slight haze but the impressive creamy white head that the beer engine can bring. Very nice lacing, too. S: On the very front end, an excellent grapefruit and tangerine hop aroma is present. You can certainly pick out the mango (and the guava to a lesser extent). The spice of the jalapeno comes much more on the back end. T: A huge pepper flavor right from the beginning. The mango really comes through and provides a nice sweetness and fruitiness to the beer. The hops are there and lend a bit of bitterness, but they sort of become lost in all the flavor additions. M: The body is medium and the carbonation is surprisingly lively for a cask pour. D: As far as pepper beers (and particularly peppered up IPAs), this was pretty good. The jalapeno did not totally overwhelm the beer.

Peppers are jalapenos and the cask was primed with agave syrup. Pours cloudy orange with a large, semi-creamy white head, good lace. Smells like an ipa with some mango. hops and citrus with some syrupy mango sweetness. Tastes hoppy and citrusy up front with some sweetness, faint hint of mango and then the jalapeno starts to build and build. Tickles on the finish. Lingering mild fire. Medium body, smooth carbonation.

Cask at PP Carlsbad. Clear golden amber pour, frothy white head. Citrus, hops, grapefruit, light tropical fruit (I guess mango), and a slight bit of peppery heat which I think was jalapeño. Lightly malty, mostly tasted like a standard PP IPA, but with a mild twist.
