Sampled @ AZ Strong Beer Fest. 24 karat pour that radiates from the glass and produces a tightly packed ivory crown. Both in flavor and aroma, loads of dank oniony, garlicy characteristics along with bright lemon zest, orange peel, tropical fruit, and evergreen. Pretty damn good...expect nothing less from these guys!

Poured up on tap at the 2015 edition of the AZ Strong Beer Festival where it exhibits a nice clear gold body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma is just delicious where it forces up resiny dank spicy garlic oniony goodness to go along with thin layers of juicy malt sweetened mango off in the background. The taste swirls with oniony - danky (?) – goodness and spicy earthy hops supported by an adequate thick malt body where thin rivers of mango juiciness try to take hold at the edges of the experience. This is just wonderful. Maybe this is the perfect moment for me for this beer or just maybe this is nearly a perfect beer. Just inviting, deep, juicy, involved, YUM! There are just two words to describe this beer any further and they’re both “money”

Pours pale straw with a white head. Looking good. Aroma has some tropical fruits, piney hops. Taste is not so huge in fruits but they are still there. Bitterness feels somewhat more round, spread wide instead of having spikes. Aftertaste is bitterly dry. Good stuff again.

Frothy white head. Medium amber golden color. Big tropica fruit and piney nose with a whallop of malty sweetness. The mouth lacks aggressive bitterness and dare I say restrained character in the mouth. Alcohol is super well hidden and highly drinkable. Slightly sweet malty finish with modest bitterness. Very nice.

On tap at City Beer. It pours a clear gold color with a creamy white head. The aroma is dank and piney with stone fruit. The flavor is dank and resinous with more pine, mango and light toasty/caramel maltiness. Very hoppy, but I wouldn’t have guessed this had fruit in it. Pretty tasty though.

Des jus éclatants et pulpeux de mangue, ananas, fleurs et une longue et douce amertume. Une double ipa à forte personnalité qui apporte son lot de fruits tropicaux.

On tap at Julian Brewery. Clear golden pour, with a white head. Piney hops, slightly dank, fruity sweetness, mango, tropical fruit, and grapefruit. Nice. Much better than the Julian IIPA.

Keg at PP Ocean Beach, as ’Mangosaurus’, 19/04/14. Clear light golden with a good sized off white head that retains well, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is mango, pine, light spice, ornge pith, hop notes. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, stick mango, pine resin, grilled pineapple, ornage pith. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light to moderate hop bitterness. Nice stuff, laced with juicy tropicana and an easy drinking DIPA all round.

On tap @ Pizza Port Bressi Ranch. Clear golden pour with a dense white head. Mango juice, juicy fruit, fruity pebbles, some weed, and pineapple. Wow, crazy nose. Flavor is really nice, even if sweet. Pineapple, mango nectar, and blueberry. Sort of marijuana like. Grapefruit, orange, and fruity pebbles.
