One of the best Belgian Trippels I have ever tasted. Citrus, sugar and coriander all present but blended perfectly together.

Right away you can smell and taste the Belgian spices. The flavor is a bit on the fruity side. Went down pretty smooth. Overall this is a pretty solid beer, just not amazing.

On tap at Stone 1/11/11. Yum yum yum, gimme some! Light golden amber in the glass, with the slightest haze. Thiught it was a bit light in color for Belgian strong. Taste is lovely. Lots of bright citrus and subtle spice. Not overpowering in any sense. Well balanced, sharp and clean. Yummy.

Growler fill and just poured into my tulip glass. I’m surprised by many low(er) scores for this. Big aroma, really crisp and full with classic belgian esters. Appearance is perfectly clear and golden. Taste is a big amped up golden, great honeysuckle and honeydew mixed with enough sweetness to not be a sugar bomb. Really clean finish and very enjoyable!

Tap @ Blind Lady. Pours golden with a bright white head. Nose is sweet and spiced and appealing. The taste is sweet, spicy, rich with lots of spice, and incredibly drinkable. I liked this a lot!

On tap at the 10th Annual San Diego Strong Ale Festival: Pours a hazy deep golden with a large, pillowy white head. Has a semi-sweet, lightly toasty bready Belgian yeasty aroma. Body starts sweet and biscuity with good clove spice and authentic yeast character. Very true to style and reminiscent of Duvel.
