On tap at San Clemente on 12/3/06: Pours a clear orange bronze with a well-lacing white head. Aroma has some fresh citrusy piny hops and lightly toasty pale malt. Body starts with a light malty sweetness, a touch of toasty caramel grain and some earthy bittering and grapefruity hoppy flavor. Finishes drier and bittersweet. A decent IPA.

WA Cask Beer Fest ’06. Pours orange. Slight pine aroma and flavor. Grassy notes. Decent but nothing that seperates it from the pack.

Draft @ Toronado. Hazy orange color with a slight white head. Malty aroma with some hop notes and a bit of DMS. Slightly malty with a vegetal hop flavor. Maybe this was a bad keg?

Tap, O’Brien’s Wet Hop Fest. Pours a medium/dark amber color with a bit of orange. Aroma is sweet with a light citric hoppy quality to it. Slightly sweet skunky citric hoppy taste. Has a fair malt backbone. Fairly smooth and not extremely bitter.

On draft at O’Briens wet hop festival. Hazy medium amber with golden highlights and a small off-white head that occurs more fizzy than creamy. Ripe fruits and subtle caramel malts in the aroma, along with lively fresh hop character featuring spruce and tart floral notes. Brash fresh hop flavor as well, hugely tart and bitter with citrus and pine prominent along with earthy herbal notes and a hing of maple and brown rice syrup. Medium body, crispy carbonation. This is a hopheads delight!

Lots of citrus hops and a lot of balance. Very typical IPA. I could tell no difference between this and the El Camino. Both were good though.

Draft at Solana, early Dec 05. Orange coppery and clear pour. Citrusy and light piney hop aroma. Caramel malty flavors balanced decently with similar citrusy and light piney hops, and a touch fruity. Not too bad.
