Tried this one at Downtown Johnny Browns several weeks back. Very easy to drink, some sweetness like chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and toasty. I liked it.

On tap at Churchills. Pours with a deep brown body and a thin tan head. Aromas of ginger, gingerbread, brown sugar, alcohol, and dry cinnamon. Flavors of coffee, alcohol, chocolate, roast, cardamon, allspice, cola, tobacco, cinnamon. Flavors are a bit flaccid. Dry roast and spicy. Lively bubbles.

Hah! I love being within the first 10 of rating a beer! Shared at the BA Wee Heavy release. Dark brown pour. Spiciness on the nose, ala winter-warmer type of cinnamin/nutmeg. Taste is a bit smoky and sweet. Very light finish in the back of the mouth. Wanted more of a finish.

I had this on tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. This dark brown pour definitely had an aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg, but the flavor was a bit on the flat side.

A: The beer absolutely gushed out of the growler as I opened the top. Never seen that before. But the actual pour is a dark amber, maybe chestnut color with a finger of tan head. S: An absolute ton of ginger on the nose. There’s a bit of a gingerbread thing going on here, which is nice, but lots of fresh, slightly woody, ginger. A bit of a spruce note along with nutmeg, chocolate, and roasted malts. T: There’s still a lot of ginger on the palate, but it seems to be a bit more under control. Quite a bit of gingerbread, bitter dark chocolate, and nutmeg. A little bit of fresh pine flavor, too. M: The body is medium with a fairly lively but creamy carbonation. D: Not bad overall. The super-spiced beers are a bit hit or miss with me, but I enjoyed this one.

A nice nutmeg/cinnamon aroma. Definitely a Christmas beer. Lots of spice. A good spice beer; not heavy.

Pours murky brown with red highlights, smallish offwhite head, no lace. Smells sweet slight sugar, spice, pine. Tastes the same, sweet, spicy malty with the pine. Medium body, good carbonation.

Dark brown with a fizzy tan head. Chocolate and spice aroma. Tastes of chocolate, cinnamon, other sweet spice, and a dry cofee finish.
