Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen. Clear golden beer with a offwhite head. Fruity, malty, hoppy and a bit sourish. Simliar flavour.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours clear golden with a small creamy white head that slowly dissipates while sticking to the glass leaving some thick lacing. Smell is sweet, malty and tiny funky with orange peal, candi sugar, plums, cloves, hay and dry soil. Taste is sweet and malty with white bread, plums, apples, cloves, orange peal, tangerines and alcohol. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, round and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny sour with plums, grapes, lemon zest and hay.

Golden with a lasting white head. Aroma of malt, white wine, spices and herbs and quite a bit of alcohol. Sweet spicy and fruity flavour with a bit of hot alcohol

Draught at Mikkeller Bar. Perfume aroma, fruity, citrus, hay, hops, malt. Fruity, spicy, citric flavor, perfume notes, apples, hay, some spices.

Tap at Pizza Port San Clemente. Pours a clear golden with a sweeter, yellow apple and ripe pear nose. Mild yeast character. Taste is spicy, tangy, spicy yeast. Overall sweeter with some interesting apple and pear skin astringency. Sharper carbonation. Alcohol makes itself known after a few sips. Not so delicate. A bit sweet for me. Not too cidery thankfully.

Reviewed from notes. Pours a nice golden color with a bit of a white head and lacing, but not as much as I would expect from a tripel. The nose brings some spice and fruit as well as some light grain sweetness. The taste is mostly spice and fruit without too much else, though what is there is a bit nice. Feel is nice with some spice and fruit with good carbonation. Drinks fairly well, but doesn’t stand up to the Belgian examples of the style. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 11-03-2010

San Diego Strong Ale Fest 2010. Hazy golden color/ white head. Coriander, clove, dry hay aromas. medium bodied. Nice pils malt, coriander, clove, spicy belgian yeasty flavors--good.

On tap; poured a hazy gold type color with a whitish head. Aroma of yeast, fruit, bubblegum and clove. Flavor was yeasty and spicy. Sweet. Enjoyable.
