Tap at the source. Muddy, dark brown pour. Good beige lacing. Nose is sweet cola, dusty cocoa, soy. Taste is richer, caramel, bitter chocolate, brownie, chocolate cake. Pretty yummy. Lemon and thick chocolate finish.

On tap at pizza port San Clemente. Pours a dark brown with a tan head and aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is of toasty, of roasted malt, nuts, and sweet chocolate notes with a malty, toasted finish. Tasty, light brown ale

Dark brown in color with a khaki head. Plenty of roasted malt along with a nice nuttiness. Toast, some sweet toffee, and a bit of cocoa/dark chocolate. A mild earthy hop aroma, too. There’s a mild bitterness to the flavor. Dark chocolate, earthy hops, and coffee flavors, plenty of roast, and some toffee sweetness. Slightly nutty, too.

Clear brown color with tan foam. Nutty, chocolate malt aromas. Light bodied with average co2. Roasted nuts, milk chocolate, light roast coffee flavors--decent.

This is the most porter like brown I’ve ever encountered. I ordered a brown expecting a brown and got a porter. Too roasty, too thick, too heavy. I like all of those things, in a porter, I like them in hints in a brown but this was too much.

Dark brown pour, creamy tan head. Aroma of nuts, coffee, toasted grains. Flavor of coffee, roasted nuts, barley. Great!
